Dad The Plow was conceived in February of 2004 in the studio of founding member Chris Howard. Compiling fellow friends that all have had ties to the Milwaukee music scene for many years and have had success and recognition on many levels guaranteed a recipe for success. This strong bond shows through in their music and stage show.
“Each member brings their own musical style and flair to the band. Each one of our songs has a different style which gives us the ability to mix things up during the course of a show and keep the sound fresh” says Mike. “This also allows us the ability to tweak our performance based upon which bands we are sharing the stage with, and what crowd we anticipate performing in front of to ensure a fun and entertaining show.”
After a two year hiatus, 2011 finds the band back in the studio rehearsing and recording new material for an upcoming release slated for release in 2012. Thus far six new songs have been recorded with possible more to come. This new collection of songs will be available to download on iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, and other online download retailers.
