~ A MESSAGE FROM THE BAND ~
06.04.08- BIG NEWS THIS TIME AROUND!!! Dad The Plow has added former bass player for Spiral Trance Mr. Leon Royal T to the mix which moves Chris to vocals and center stage. This was done for many reasons but mostly to allow for a high energy show and to be able to allow Chris to interact with the crowd. He has already been practicing his High Jumps, Leg Kicks, and all the cool things that come with a front man position. We will be doing a photo shoot sometime in June so look for a lot of new stuff coming down the pipeline in the form of promo and with writing new material a lot of kick ass music too. Saturday July 19th will be the debut of this new lineup as we jam at Barn Bash in Van Dyne, Wisconsin. All the details can be found at the above link for Upcoming Shows. This
3-piece act delivers the goods when it comes to meeting the demands of
hungry heavy rock fans. Catchy riffs, melodic vocals, and strong
musical arrangements allows this band to please the masses. Live
Music Source has described Dad The Plow as “Milwaukee’s Hidden Gem.”
Dad The Plow was conceived in February of 2004 in the studio of founding
member Chris Howard. Compiling fellow friends that all have had
ties to the Milwaukee music scene for many years and have had success
and recognition on many levels guaranteed a recipe for success.
This strong bond shows through in their music and stage show.
“Each member brings their own musical style and flair to the band. Each
one of our songs has a different style which gives us the ability to mix
things up during the course of a show and keep the sound fresh” says
Mike. “This also allows us the ability to tweak our performance
based upon which bands we are sharing the stage with, and what crowd we
anticipate performing in front of to ensure a fun and entertaining
show.”
Dad The Plow continues to perform on a regular basis in Milwaukee,
Waukesha, Madison, and Green Bay Wisconsin.

"Waukesha's Heavy Side: After three years together, this week the Waukesha hard-rock trio Dad The Plow releases their first album, fittingly titled The Heavy. The disc divides its time between Metallicas' menace and Alice in Chains' moodiness, right down to the austere, Jerry Cantrell-esque guitar textures. Dad The Plow plays a CD release party Saturday, Dec. 1, at The Main Stage in Waukesha with two Madison rock bands, The Motor Primitives and Subatomic".
