~ A MESSAGE FROM THE BAND ~ 05.14.2009- Hello all you followers of the mighty plow. It's been a while since our last update so many of you might have thought we fell off the face of the earth. 2009 is here, and a change has come upon us as of February. Leon has left the band to pursue another venture, time restrictions on his part did not allow him to be a part of us anymore and we wish him the best moving forward. So for now, DTP will go back to it's original line up with Chris strapping on the bass once again. We got word this week that DTP will be making it's first appearance at this year's Largest Music Festival SUMMERFEST here in Milwaukee. The date is Sunday, July 5th and we will be rocking the Cascio Groove Garage at 2:30 pm. Of course being Summerfest, is an all ages event which runs 11 days on Milwaukee's lakefront. Special thanks goes out to Matt and the rest of the guys at Cascio Interstate Music for making it happen this year for us! You Rock! As of last few weeks, we are preparing Spiderwater Studio's for another round of recording. We want to get some new tunes in everyone's hands so they can keep spreading the word. No timeframe is set for completion, this will be a work in progress in which we will keep everyone up to date on what's happening. -Chris, Mike, & Remo |

~ RECENT PRESS/REVIEWS ~
November 27, 2007 - Shepherd Express Magazine "Waukesha's Heavy Side: After three years together, this week the Waukesha hard-rock trio Dad The Plow releases their first album, fittingly titled The Heavy. The disc divides its time between Metallicas' menace and Alice in Chains' moodiness, right down to the austere, Jerry Cantrell-esque guitar textures. Dad The Plow plays a CD release party Saturday, Dec. 1, at The Main Stage in Waukesha with two Madison rock bands, The Motor Primitives and Subatomic".
